The bullseye is on your backs now.

Given the level of accuracy the Yankee pitching staff is currently capable of, I think we'll do all right.

I don't know who you are and I already don't like you.

Congratulations.

How discourteous of me. Alan Shore.

Now you have a name to go with the dislike.

Tony Stark, but you already knew that.

Now, by all means, mock more things that I love.

You can't expect me to accept the bullseye yet forego bragging rights. I'm not that generous, Mr. Stark.

I was being serious. The Rangers My mother. Captain America. Italian opera. The Massachussetts Institute of Technology. Grey's Anatomy.

None of those things get mocked enough.

Well, maybe Grey's.

Simply by virtue of mentioning them in the same breath as Grey's Anatomy, you've heaped more derision on those things than I ever could.

Don't knock McDreamy.

The Asian girl's hot, too.

I don't have the slightest idea what you're talking about, but I'm going to go out on a limb and assume it's not Italian opera.

Actually, if you count Placido Domingo as McDreamy and Hei-Kyung Hong as the Asian girl. . .

Isn't it about your turn to offer up something that you love that I can mock? Your team won, you should feel generous.

Well, there's law--may as well stop there, right?--and...my own mother, obviously. Denny Crane and Cool Hand Luke and Bob Dylan. F. Scott Fitzgerald.

Wait, you know Denny Crane?

Not biblically, if that's what you're wondering. Most other ways, though.

Talk about throwing me a softball. He represented one of my subsidiaries in a suit a few years back.

Shore, I've heard the man sing. I win.

I figured it was the only pitch you were likely to hit, being a Yankees fan. You--it wasn't a contest. It was a display of generosity--mine, to be specific.

He sings every year at the office Christmas party. It's not so bad. He has...panache.
