...I know. I know I wasn't truly alone while going through Fudoumine. I had the rest of the gang, especially you, by my side through it all. ...But this was my fucking brother we're talking about. He went with my father and abandoned us. He abandoned Okaasan and Namari. He abandoned me. ...And I haven't found it within myself to forgive him for it yet.
You know, it'd be more fun for you if you actually tried to make it entertaining. Construction isn't *that* boring if you put effort into it. In fact, like I said, it can be lots of fun if you know how to handle it. Yes you were~ You whiny whiner~
I rarely feel like dressing up for Halloween, and it's only because of Namari convincing me to that I ever do these days. She oddly enough hasn't said much about trick-or-treating this year, though. Only that she's got some friends she's getting together with for it instead of sticking with her Nii-chan. ...If they're a bunch of boys I might feel tempted to kill them. ...So sure~ I'll come over to your place.
[OOC: He's just teasing Sakurai. Just because it's Sakurai, he already knows he didn't fuss that much, but he's poking fun at him. ^^;]
...I know, Tetsu. And you know, no one's holding it against you for not forgiving him or anything like that. But you know what the best thing you can do right now is? Just don't worry about it. Look at you now, Tetsu. Look at your mom and your little sister. They're happy. You know why? Because they've got you looking after them. You're an amazing big brother to Nama-chan, and you do a lot to help your mom out. You guys are stable. You're happy and keeping each other together. Don't let what's happened in the past keep rising. It'll just try to break you guys apart and... I don't want to have to pick up the pieces again, Tetsu. I will if it happens, but I hate seeing you go through that. So just ignore your dad and your brother and concentrate on the happy life you've made for yourself right here and now, okay?
You're talking to the guy who had to get used to sleeping through your impromptu construction sessions in the middle of the night... Which I failed in doing, since I ended up just coming out to watch you every time it happened. You want whining? I'll show you real whining next time.
Aww, look at that~ Nama-chan's growing up~! You want to meet them first to make sure they'll look after her? ...Awesome. Scary movies and popcorn and crashing on the futons on the floor?
(ooc: Sakurai's figured, so he's just gonna go with it~)
...I know. But it took me a long fucking time to make that happen for the two of them. I worked my ass off doing the very job that the man I hate did for a living just to help my mother make ends meet and so we could dig ourselves out of debt and out of that fucking house that caused us so much trouble. ...I know. And I don't want to ever go through that again. Thankfully, I probably never will. ...Unless something unforetold happens to the women I love. I'll try my best, though. But sometimes...it's just hard to forget the past.
...Yeah, still sorry about that~ I know we got noisy at times. Okaasan and Namari were used to it and could still sleep through the banging and sawing like it was nothing. And as you might remember, our neighbors were a bunch of fucking abusive druggy assholes who we could've cared less about bothering, so we just kept going with the noise. ...Of course, it probably didn't help that my room was closest to Otousan's makeshift construction room either. So I just decided to get up and joined them when they woke me up with things. ...Wait. Seriously~?
Stop saying it that way! I don't *want* her to grow up or for boys to notice her! She's too perfect! D: If they're still boys, it doesn't matter if they say they'll look after her. They're still thinking the same thing about her. Things I don't want any boys to think about her. ...Little perverted shits. Sounds good to me~ I'll bring my Chinese movies with me this time~ They always end up making you piss yourself everytime I show them to you~
...I know you did. I was there, remember? And you know, I've always been proud of you for what you did for them; proud to know that my best friend was that kind of guy that will do everything in his power for the ones he loves. Nothing's going to happen to them. Not as long as you're around. It is. But I'm here to help make sure you concentrate on more important things.
...Yeah, that really didn't help. At all. But it wasn't all that bad. Especially that time after they left where I woke up and you were making something. ...No. That'll just give the crew something else to be jackasses to me about.
But I've already noticed her~ ...No, I'm kidding. I'm not going to make a move your little sister. But I'm pretty sure there are boys who have long noticed here. If your mom trusts them, then try and trust them, too. Were you thinking the same thing about girls when you were hanging out with them? ...Oi, no. Fuck you, Tetsu. You're a jackass. You know how much I hate those things. ...Okay, fine. Bring them. But don't complain if I end up clinging to you or hiding behind you or something.
