Family worries

Things have been troublesome lately thanks to the recent circumstances regarding my baby sister. And as a result, I've also been learning that Kaasan feels really guilty about what happened to Namari. Because she never noticed anything wrong and now she's beating herself up over it. To the point that it's affecting her work, and she was sent home ( Read more... )

questions, nii-san, manning up, neighbors, finding a new home, namari, worries, family, thank you vigilante-san, kaasan, ryou-san

I know that too. And I wasn't exaggerating. I know what you guys will do for me and my own. And I really do appreciate that. But I wouldn't want any of you to get arrested because of us. Namari wouldn't want it either. She'd cry if that happened to you, and you know it. She'd cry if that happened to any of her nii-sans. ...But she knows what happened to the neighbors. And she knows that she might be the reason why it happened. Which upsets her, of course, but I think...if we end up finding out who did this for us, she might want to thank them too. I saw this relieved look that came over her when I told her about the neighbors. Best friend reflex? I know Masaya's usually more rational-minded, but I think we both bring out the worst in each other when it comes to protectiveness. ...So you can stop feeling like your title is threatened and thinking of ways to improve on it.

Alright. That's fine. I know Namari will be disappointed that they won't be with you when we meet up, but she'll be okay, and I'm sure the fact we'll be checking the apartments out will end up distracting her soon enough and will get her excited.

[OOC: I first heard it in high school, when they were advertising a set of CDs called Pure Moods on TV. I ended up liking the sound of several of the songs that were advertised, so I hunted down the CDs. Over ten years later, and those CDs are still the ones I grab for when I'm wanting some mellow, calming music. ^^ Except the X-Files theme song. It's too freakin' eerie to make me calm down. >>;]

Even if what happened was due to her, because your brother could be right and they pissed someone else off and just got what was coming to them, it's a good cause. I hope she isn't too upset. Mm........ I suppose that makes sense. I'll stand down then, no need to go and rough up a bunch of gang members with knives if it's just a bestfriend reflex and not a challenge.

As I said, promise her that the next day they'll come, and if you don't want to come then she can just come along with us. I'll look after the three of them.

(ooc: I used to have that CD! Is that the one whith Sheila Chandra: Ever So Lonely? I LOVE that song!)

True. But I'd still worry about it coming back to haunt us. And you should know by now that Namari doesn't get "too upset". Well...not "too upset" as in angry. She just worries over everyone. ...You seriously make me wonder at times just when you're gonna do something to really mess yourself up.

I'll tell her that. But in that case, I do want to also tag along if you do end up deciding to go back and take a second look with the girls. I want to see Nagisa's and Amaya's opinion on things also.

[OOC: That would've been volume III in the series, which I don't have, sadly. ;___; I've only got the first two volumes. ...I should hunt down the other volumes and the other songs from the original release sometime.]
