One of the tamer curses, I see. I have no reason to complain. Blackmail is irrelevant.

I thought I had left these well behind me.

It has been a while. You are well, I assume.

Yes, it has. And yes, I am.

I am merely observing the memories that this City continues to expose.

I have no interest in such memories, either my own or others.

The City's continued interest in our memories... is daunting.

And it isn't only our memories. Perhaps the deities are the jealous sort.

Daunting? At times. We'll have to rise to the challenge...

Take advantage of what the City has given us.

Major General. I'd like to hear your thoughts of the recent graffiti messages.

It's obnoxious..most likely done to get attention. The question is from whom the attention is desired and why.

As to the content of the messages, it is hardly surprising. Do you know of many who are content to live like puppets?

Shall we investigate the matter?

I suppose not, in the end. Though I shall continue to keep an eye on the vandalism and any further actions that may branch off from it.

Any inquiries made would most likely lead to dead ends. Rather than looking for suspicious behavior, since inevitably there's far too much of that here, it would be better to listen for trouble.

Perhaps someone with a talent for undercover work would be of use if things with this attitude on a large scale continue. Until then...

Then I shall do as such, Major General.

I know of someone who does investigative work. I believe he or she has recently joined the police force.

Then I leave it to your judgement as to whether or not to involve such a person when the time comes.
