Amsterdam part 2
Went to a birthday party for a 3 year-old yesterday. The woman I'm hanging around with took me. really interesting to watch regular Dutch people going about regular stuff. The host was probably pretty well off. Had a beautiful 4br 4 story row-house in the Old South district of Amsterdam. All guests arrived on bicycles. Parents, kids, everybody. Everybody speaks english. Even the kids. I feel so uneducated. And everyone was super friendly and very nice. I had a really good time. Anyway, today I'm going to go see some Van Gogh in the museum down the street, and go find a coffee shop I heard about down the street, and maybe take a few pictures. Might take my friend on a canal cruise tomorrow. Damn, my life sucks :-)
