I have not missed one day of my public speaking class...I only missed the first day of my french class...I got an 84% on my first french quiz!! I am listening to wonderul music.
I work like 30 hours this weekend...BOO, but now I have 3 days off from work. I have clean clothes, thanks to my good friend Stephen, and his washer and dryer. The house is coming along great. I haven't had a lot of time to practice and write, but that will be easier when I'm not trying to balance everything.
I talked to my grandfather yesterday and he is going to search for a recording of his big band from the 70's and send it to me!!! I think that is really cool. It might not be till august though, but oh well. I also talked to my dad, my step-dad, and also my step-mom, who gave me this wierd lecture about how my grandfather is going to die and I need to talk to him and spend more time with him...and also how I need to talk to my dad more, even though she knows he's done bad things...Something I'm not sure I was aware of, and he loves me. Wierd and depressing conversation. I'm not sure if I want to talk to her anymore. I used to think she was very fun and whimsical...but it turns out she is just wierd.
Last night the cops were parked out in front of my house for some reason, there were 3 cars. I thought that Michael had set something on fire...but it turns out there was a case of animal neglect next door and the police and animal control came to fix it. Then my roommates and I got to talking about Marijuana and Salvia...then we watched a video of someone tripping on salvia...I laughed for a while and that was that.
I think we are planning on having some dinner/dinner party or something. My roommates want to invite people too...the lesbians (Chels and Lacey), our mutual friends, various people that live in the Phelps Gove Neighborhood. I don't know if that'll happen. We should probably acquire a kitchen table first. lol.
I just copied Hellogoodbye, Bell and Sebastian, Steve Reich Remixed, and maybe some more Sigur Ros onto my Ipod. Exciting...I still need to put John Adams' "Road Movies", Steve Reich's "You Are (Variations)", and Matt Pond, PA on Mrs. Crabtree and I'll be good to go.
This has turned into a lengthy post.
That's all
until
next
