I'm surprisingly rather calm now. Perhaps it is my semi-sleepy state, i can't be too sure.
Backstory: In Sec 3, i got bitten by sandflies at OBS. The bites spread across both my arms and legs and even my neck. It took a year to heal and visits to the National Skin Centre, a variety of antibiotics(some of which merely damaged my body without working), other topical steroids and even injections. That was honestly one of the most trying experiences of my life.
Nowstory: I have been very afraid of a reoccurence since i joined NS. My Pes B L1 is due to this propensity for 'prurigo nodularis'(the scientific term for an extreme bodily reaction to sandfly bites). So far i managed to stay clear.
Last week in my Pre-Summary Ex, i got bitten. I was hoping that it was just 8 bites and that i'd deal with it once my Summary Exercise is over. This is because next week's Summex is pivotal to my passing out. If i don't excel in it, i will get kicked out of my course.
Today morning, i woke up to find 8 new nodules on my skin. This is how it began in Sec 3 - My allergy causes new bites to form all over my body at a rapid pace. If i should scratch them during my sleep, they break and spread further.
I am honestly deadly afraid of what the jungle and its lack of hygiene will do to my condition and how the spreading allergy will affect my performance next week.
I really crave your prayers at this moment that I can be healed completely, and failing that, that i can be courageous enough and draw strength from God to see the next week through. Thank you so much.
