A Short Testimony about God's Kindness and Mercy to Me!
On Friday Night, i finally booked out of army camp and was returning home excitedly after having survived a field pack inspection and a fire drill while i was clad in bookout attire. However, when i reached home, i found to my horror that i had not packed my notebook! This notebook contained information crucial for my test on Tuesday morning, and the penalty for failing that test would be two weekend duties.
Not wanting to be trapped in camp, i went to search for my key so as to retrieve my notes from camp. THEN, i realised that my key was missing as well. This got me really scared because if i had lost the key in camp, the penalty would be another two weekend duties, which would effectively keep me in camp for the next 5 weeks.
At that point, i really lost my temper because my parents were trying to tell me how careless i had been and how i should be more meticulous(which was really not what i needed at that moment) and was just frustrated and irritable in general instead of coming to God in prayer.
BUT
Despite all this, i finally managed to borrow the key from my bunkmate, return to camp and get my notes AND my key!!
I really want to thank God for:
1) My parents, who did not fault me for my outbursts and instead drove me all the way to my friend's house, camp and back home despite being tired(my dad) and not having to come at all(my mom). Their support really keeps me going :) (my phone is full of their prayers and verses!!)
2) My bunkmate(who is coincidentally a christian!) who woke up to pass me the key!
3) And God of course, who placed my bunkmate's house on the road to camp(which made me go wow when i asked for his address), for letting me enter camp unhindered despite the late hour, and for having mercy on me and letting me escape all punishment though i don't deserve it.
