Perhaps you'd benefit from learning how to lock your entries? I'm not as well-versed on how the vocal ones work. I assume you were speaking out loud. Many here do.

Yeah, I should really probably know how to do that, but I guess I don't. I was just talking, since I saw that other people were? But I thought maybe there was an option to make it public or not. Apparently it just does it.

I am happy to meet you, Mademoiselle Jo.
Apparently public is the default option. If you wish to make an entry only for yourself, just say something at the beginning, such as "Private to me" and it should work. I only write "private" above mine.

If you don't mind wading through the snow on deck to get to it, there's an enclosure with plants. It looks almost like the real outdoors. Oh, and take a coat. There's precious little heat anywhere on board at the moment. I think the Admiral likes chilly climes.

I can lend you a cloak, though perhaps you could wear my overcoat. I am not a tall man. I have a sweater too--it has daisies on it--perhaps it was meant to have been made by Marguerite after all. They are a gift from the Admiral.

Oh, uh. You don't have to. I mean, that's really nice and all. Just wouldn't want to snag your coat after we've only just met. Thank you though, really.
I'm Armand, by the way. Welcome to the Barge.
