(Prose style, because I don't know how else to do this)

After the execution, Rosier's body has been taken by Irmo, as nobody else seemed to want to take responsibility for it. So it comes that Rosier enjoys an honour that no other mortal ever came to enjoy, and, indeed, that no mortal could enjoy for long if he were yet alive: His body is resting ( Read more... )

And I am going to presume his soul got shuffled off to Mandos, so if Sam wants him, he's there, resting I guess.

typist: A fair assumption. He did seem to wander a bit, but if Namo will have him in Mandos as a soul, it's better than some places he could be.

Well I don't know about Lyra (considering she has, what, two Valar? But I just don't seem to be able to play insane characters - evil ones either. They always seem to become misunderstood, manipulated and reformed.

typist: Well, if anyone is able to instill anythng like a sense of awe, understanding of true justice and mercy, etc. into Rosier, it will likely be the Valar. Fea just scared the crap out of him I'm afraid, but Irmo already made a v. good impression.

If anything, Namo's strongest beliefs are in Justice and Mercy - despite the situation he's in due to his relationship with Fea.
I'm sure he's also glad his brother is holding up similar standards. ;)

typist: I'm all about trying to reform this puppet. Is there any etiquette you recommend in getting him back? I've tentatively scheduled it for Saturday night when I can be back from work and not have to go to bed so early.

Namo is surprisingly easy-going about the Mandos-return thing - except for maybe a couple of people but they were far less repentant than Rosier has ever been (and one besides had divine intervention on his case so Namo couldn't really interfere (translation: I missed it so I'm retconning just slightly to make it fit).

typist: well, it shall be tonight. Lyra and I have a smallish plan of sorts to get Rosier out of Lorien quickly, and then Rosier's entire desire is to find Dolohov and prove to him that he's not gone forever.

Typist: Awww, but insane characters are fun! ;) Nah, Irmo and Oromë aren't insane either. Oromë isn't really around much - I suppose he's riding off in the wilderness or something - but he's a nice guy really, though a little bit rough-and-ready (but nowhere near as bad as Tulkas). And Irmo is very similar to his big brother, only that Justice is not his job, so he can fully concentrate on Mercy and Healing (and Redemption, probably, but Fëa's obsessed with that, too...). His getting angry at Acheron was pretty much the worst he was capable of.

...Fëa, alas, might not be entirely sad about having scared Rosier. But he's likely going to play nice, at least as long as Rosier doesn't do anything stupid.

typist: I am trying to eat breakfast and do some online stuff at the same time. *nods*

Thanks for the picture links. I will send the color one to the Love and War people until I find a way to finish my drawing and get it scanned. I'm nearly done though everyone here still says he looks like a girl. *sigh*

And as for Rosier, well, despite everything he actually likes Feanor a lot better than Voldemort and thinks he is far less crazy. His anger and wrath were because he was protecting someone else, which Voldemort would never do. He will do his best as long as Feanor can protect him and Antonin from Voldemort. If Stacey gets more active and Lord Voldemort succeeds in punishing/etc. his escaped minions, I don't know how Rosier's loyalties will react yet. But mostly I want to see if he can keep his appetites within bounds. *crosses fingers*
