Dutch innit

I've been trying out the Dutch language and have found that I rather like it. I can read it...a bit. It's not very hard, check it out.
I read this and translated as is shown in the parenthesis:
"Het Nederlands voetbalteam traint voor het Wereld Kampionschap!!"
(The Netherlands football team trains for the World Championship!!)
Neat, eh? "Nederlands" and "voetbalteam", as I later learned, actually mean "Dutch" and "soccer" (<--Europeans say "football" instead of "soccer" and I forgot this).
There is another example I have, also involving the soccer team:
"Je kunt luisteren naar de uitspraak van de namen van de Nederlands voetbalspelers, coaches en trainer."
This one is much more complicated, but upon seeing the English translation, I learn new words.
"You can listen to the pronounciation of the names of Dutch soccer players, coaches and trainers."
From this we have learned some very useful words such as je = you, van = of, namen = names, de = the (I suppose the words "het" and "de" both mean "the" and are used in different situations. See! I've learned something else!!).
I'm having fun. I love languages.
