There've been a couple of points in the last year or two when I've been really critical of the actions of the government, and of President Obama in particular. Seems fair enough to note that he/they have done two good things in the last few days:

President Obama released his birth certificate, laying the vast bulk of the controversy there to rest.

And - under his ultimate guidance - we found and killed Osama Bin Laden.

There's objections that can be made, sure - "Why didn't he do this when..." and "Yeah, but as long as he's doing X..." - and I don't want to downplay these things. But they were true yesterday and the day before, and they'll still be true tomorrow. Right now, in these areas, the man's done some things right. Kudos to him and to everyone else involved for his actions at the moment.
