Well, I think it has great possibility. Maybe you were just trying too hard? I think maybe it wanted to be longer and that's what made it just a little awkward. I liked the theme and I think it has the potential to be a really wonderful story. Maybe you'll consider poking at it more in the future?

I think it probably did want to be longer. But I ran out of ideas past the fight. I'll probably take your advice and 'poke' at it.

lol I'm just terrible at longer pieces though.

I'm going to have to go over to Fiction Alley and take some past advice and get a beta, lol.

Glad I could help! I know how frustrating it can be.

The Charm was my first story that was more than a one-shot and I thought it was going to eat me, but my beta really helped. She carried me over that first huge bump. It ended up being about 83 pages long. I know that's not super long for a lot of these ladies, but it was for me.

So best to you. I know you'll get it!

It's definitely long! lol I've got something like a 104 page Original fic stuck in my documents, and it's staying there. ;)

It was lovely honey! But I understand why you posted, and just went with it even if you aren't happy. Sometimes you just need to do a fic to get you going again, when you haven't done any for a while.

But I liked it, even if you didn't! I guess I have this thing for fics with kids in them! Strange...
