On Friday, after dinner with my sister, we met up with Matt DeAngelas (blast from the past - he was Judas in JCS at the Firehouse when Seth was in it) and he was seeing this band whose two singers have been in "Aida" on Broadway. So, it was like pop/rock but with amazingly, rediculously talented vocals on top of it...needless to say, it made me giddy, as did seeing Matt again. So basically - Amy and Rachel - you have to come with me to the next gig of this band, cause you would crap your pants.
The rents were in town. We had the Dean's List Champagne Brunch - they did actually serve Memosas, so, go Marymount. Then, we saw "Brooklyn: The Musical." It was very good. At times, the plot was rediculously sappy, but the music was good, and, you know how you can look at those TV's and see the conductor in the pit? Well, I always look of course, and the dude was playing the piano AND conducting with his head - LIKE ME! yay! So, I recommend it, enthusiastically.
Also saw "Arcadia" at Marymount. It was exciting, cause some really good friends were in it, like Carmine and Miguel and David Beck. It was also a really good show. And Carmine's whole Italian family was sitting in front of me, and it was fun to watch them react....I must marry an Italian boy - Carmine/Anthony - SET THE DATE! And Donny was A.D.ing it, and was a proud papa, and I got to meet his mom, which was really great.
So, my sister has been offered a job at Universal. She will probably be making 6 figures by the time she's 24. I'm really proud of her, and happy, because it is her dream job...but a part of me just wants to scream "will you always be better than me?!"
I voted today...power to the people.
Oklahoma! goes up on Monday, all I can say is "Dear God"
I'm nervous, because on Wednesday I'm playing the piano for singers at this benefit thing. It will be the first time I play the piano at school - I don't want to suck. I have to be good. Word has to spread that I don't suck, so that I can do more.
I set up an interview for Tuesday for an internship at the York Theatre....I am more than excited - I'm wicked excited.
Any questions?

P.S. How are you?
