I hope that everyone enjoyed the irises last week and nobody had allergies over them. We weren't mean to hurt anybody when our goal was to lift the good spirits

Maybe they turn into the wishes people ask for. That is what I believe. Or go to their hearts and become the perseverance they asked to make them real.
It isn't! I... I feel panicked about my skills as Lysander
I...I didn't wish for anything during that day. But didn't people accidentally make their wishes? That is different from a conscious choice.
I could do that or I could... performance that delivery as "forced". The script doesn't say how Lysander's face looked like. Perhaps the love potion could curse his lips, but in his eyes, he would always look at Hermia in love.
I did. Usually they were. Some people made conscious wishes, but they resulted in mishaps just the same. My friend Sam was stung by a bee because he wished for a friend of his named Bumblebee, for example.
Oh, now that's a take on it I hadn't thought of before. If it helps, I think you ought to give it a try! Perhaps at a rehearsal with the whole cast, so we can see what everyone thinks of it?
And we're all so used to performing together by now, I think, that I'm sure if something were to happen, we'd all be able to work together and set it right.
If we can agree in one interpretation. Maybe because the love is false, Lysander's promises to Helena and his curses at Hermia are mere words lacking feelings, while Demetrius' vows of love are truthful!
I have a few evenings free for practicing lines, I think. Goodness, the play really isn't far off at all, is it?
[OOC: Todd-mun is on hiatus, I think, so you might not get a response on that one.]

Oh, dear, are you still, er, worried about insulting pretending to insult Juliet?

I fought the embarrassment and shame to bring misery on her, even if it's pretending. My delivery remains lacking strength and assertiveness.

Well...perhaps it might help if, just before you delivered your line, you thought about something you do feel strong and assertive about?

Like... my father or my cousin Mercutio?
Reply
Well...I suppose so. Could you imagine you're standing up to either of them, perhaps, and then deliver the line?

I could ask Sir Neil's opinion. I don't want my insecurity to ruin the play!!

I think that's a very wise idea. But don't worry! You won't ruin the play. We're all going to do just fine I hope.

I have high hopes in our performance. Juliet would think of something if we were in trouble. She's so clever and improvises so well!
