So I always manage to miss the "Friday Five" so I figured while I have nothing else to do I'll do some from the past few weeks..
1. What item would you be embarrassed for people to know you own? Depends on who we're talking about - it's all different for different people. There might be something that I'd be embarrassed if my family knew about, others that I might be embarrassed if guys knew about. It's all circumstantial.
2. What is something you splurged on just for you? My nails, every other Friday.
3. What is something that you own with no real world value that is priceless to you? Pictures, & my twenty-year old teddy bear.
4. Do you collect anything? Yeah, useless crap. Haha, that would be Nanc's answer about me. But really collect? Nothing really...memories, haha.
5. What item belonging to a friend/family member do you covet? Isn't it against the Ten Commandments to covet something that isn't yours? Oh well, hmm...at the moment I could definitely go for a pool.
#1. Have you ever been to summer camp? Yep, every summer.
#2. Have you ever made a s'more? Ohh yeah, it's the only way I'll eat a marshmallow.
#3. Have you ever slept under the stars (no tent/tarp)? Mmm, no - I don't believe so.
#4. Have you ever had a member of the opposite sex sleep over at your house? Yep.
#5. What type of bed do you have? Twin.
What is your favorite quote....
1) ... on family?
"The family. We were a strange little band of characters trudging through life sharing diseases and toothpaste, coveting one another's desserts, hiding shampoo, borrowing money, locking each other out of our rooms, inflicting pain and kissing to heal it in the same instant, loving, laughing, defending, and trying to figure out the common thread that bound us all together."
-Erma Bombeck
2) ... on relationships(marriage, friendships, etc)?
"Things change, people move on & we all grow up. But, somwhere in between all that we became like family. And nothing will ever change so much that we will stop being best friends."
-Unknown
3) ... attitude?
My attitude toward life...
"As we drive along this road called life, occasionally a gal will find herself a little lost.. and when that happens, I guess she has to let go of the could've, should've, would've, buckle up, and just keep going."
-Sex & The City
4) ... happiness?
"Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets. So, love the people who treat you right & forget about the ones who don't. Believe that everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said that it would be easy, they just promised that it would be worth it."
-Unknown
5) ... success?
"If there's just one piece of advice I can give you, it's this - when there's something you really want, fight for it. Don't give up no matter how hopeless it seems. And when you've lost hope, as yourself if in ten years from now, you're gonna wish you gave it just one more shot. Because the best things in life, they don't come free."
-Grey's Anatomy
On another note, I get to see my WheeLoves tonight!
I'm really sad that Alyssa's leaving though. But I know, from experience, that she'll have an amazing time.
Part of me wishes that I was in her position again.
I would love to do another semester abroad - maybe somewhere different.
Next week is going to be GREAT!
My family birthday party, with cake from Meletharb's, is on Sunday.
Then Tuesday is my actual birthday! (Yay for pointless ages) with means Canobie with a bunch of amazing people - should be fun now that I actually go on rides. Haha.
Then Friday we're (me, Lauren, Laura, Colleen, Al, & Mike) leaving for Montreal for the weekend!
I don't know if I'm going to be able to handle all of this excitement all contained in one week. Haha - wish my luck!
Well, hope you all enjoyed my crazy topic-jumping randomnes of an entry!
Booger's leaving her house now to get me so I should probably finish getting ready.
