exciting news of nellies life.
because...idk. updates on life are fun? even though this will probably end up being really short.
1) I HATE MOTHS. THERES ONE ON MY SCREEN AS I TYPE THIS AND I FUCKING HATE IT. okay sorry.
2) There is a marathon of Star Wars on tv. episodes 1-4. I'm currently watching it. Yes I am a geek. No, I don't care what anyone says.
3) Mom's home from Canada. One of the first phrases out of her mouth? "Let's sit down and talk about essays"- yeah because that always goes over well. NOT. *is going to attempt to stay out of house all day long*
4) School in...2 days and some hours. IM EXCITED! no really i am.
5) Pony and I had a great lesson the other day :) i'm talking really really great. I'm not sure where our new direction is going right now, but so far it's good :]
6)...hmm, i guess this is all i have to say right now. OH. im keeping my fingers crossed that I can somehow find a way to make it to the Thirty Seconds to Mars concert in Hartford on thursday evening, but it really depends on a) if theres anything going on at school that night, which there probably will be, which will suck because it means i won't make it and b) if parents go out of town or not. i probably wont make it, but im keeping my fingers crossed anyway.
7)...NEW ALBUMS TO ANTICIPATE AND SAVE FOR: Linkin Park, Anberlin, All That Remains. WOO! wish i had pre-ordered LP, maybe I still can, but we shall see.
8) shows to anticipate and save for: Burn Halo is potentially hitting CT sometime this month? Keeping my fingers crossed on that one...Disturbed will be in Wallingford i think either at the end of this month, or in early October....WOAH Keith Urban and Kris Allen were- sorry, ARE in Wallingford tonight...thats cool, kinda wonder how I missed that one...and other than that, not much that I can see right now...but I'll keep this updated.
9) FUN FACT I WANT TO SHARE WITH EVERYONE: Rob Zombie (the musician, YES that Rob Zombie, who was on Mayhem Fest this year) lives in my town. Literally. I drive past his house on a daily basis. He's about five minutes down the road adjacent to mine. I'm taking this small moment to brag about it. annnnd okay im done. but i do lord it over my ex. its fun haha.
10) Fireman's Fair was way more fun Saturday night. Went with my best friend and her boyfriend (who I LOVE to argue about trucks with). I got to play paintball again and hit an old friend in the cajones rather hard :P I was pleased with myself. We havent talked much in a bunch of years, so it was rather satisfying. And I got lots of sugar. Next weekend is Bethlehem Fair- can't wait to do it all over again :)
