The voice on the other end has a British accent and sounds rather depressed.

"Hello. Wrong number, I'm afraid."

"Not really, but hi." Sean is tapping his feet happily, own Irish accent a bit thick in excitement. "Li?"

"Sean! Hi!" The voice on the other end sounds very surprized, but pleasantly so. Apparently, it also does indeed belong to Li.

"Ohmygod, how've you been?!"

"LiLiLi!" Sean sounds a little too happy, but he calms down.

"I have been good. Yes very good. Job and friends. You?"

Li chuckles on the other end at Sean's excitement. Silly Sean!

"I've been..." There is a long pause. Too long. "... Not bad, I guess. Work is good. Friends are friendly. I-- ... it's been good."

"Only not bad?" He notes the long pause. That was a very long pause. "What's up?"

Li did not realize how much he missed Sean until he called! Also, Li has some Problems right now. Don't know if this had been noted.

"I, um... Oh, you know. The usual sort of nonsense." This is the sound of Li trying to laugh it off.

"What's the usual sort of nonsense? Something wrong with Basil?" Sean was keeping his head under the sand and thus has no idea what's been going on.

"Oh! N-- we just broke up a little while ago." Let Sean draw his own conclusions.
