I'm getting pretty bad at writing in this on any kind of regular schedule. Anyway, Tuesday night my test went alright, I think. Wednesday morning I slept through class. Wednesday seems like it's lost to me now, because I don't remember what I did at all that day or night. Must have been a whole lotta nothin. I know I started working on my British history paper. I had to go to Sherman to get the book from Nick. I also probably played Zelda. Thursday I didn't go to my 3rd and 4th classes to I could continue work on my paper. Then I had work, which was odd because there is a new girl who is overly open about her sexual habits. After work I wrote the last page of my paper double-quick, then I met Chrystal, Rob and Henry at 4th/Green to go to Murphy's, and they were with Ray and Kim. We hit Murphy's and Dave and Jeff were already there. Also there by random chance were Ryan Fraser, Jena, Natalia and Polly. Whoa, I just realized when you say Jena and Natalia out loud right next to each other...hahaha. Anyway. We had a few pitchers and talked about fun stuff. I got to know Kim better than I had before, when I met her at Tom's party ages ago. I saw O'Brien on my way out but didn't have time to stay and chat. Thursday is when it started to get cold, by the way. It was below freezing and there was freezing rain. The trees looked really pretty, but it was cold and wet and icy and cold. Friday morning I went to class and turned in my paper. After class I spent way too much time playing Zelda. I did a bit of laundry after I was done. Steve's brother was here and we got dressed and went to Bromley to pregame with Kellee, a visiting Timmy, Lauren, and others a little bit. But not really much at all. We headed out to Murphy's, and after changing tables a few times, finally went downstairs. Lots and lots of people showed up and I met a bunch of fresh new faces. We messed with Kellee's hair a lot and played quarters. Jason (Steve's brother) bought two rounds of shots for everybody, which was pretty cool. Kim, Tom, Henry, Connie, Margarita, Natalia and many many others were there. Jason had the idea to invite people back to our place for after hours, so we figured "Why not?" So after we left the bar, we headed back to my place, and I had some people in tow. When I got back to my apartment, I made an interesting discovery: our doorknob had been broken off. The bottom line is this: shortly before I got home, some asshole that Kevin invited over threw a beer bottle off of our balcony, then proceeded to be an asshole to some people on the sidewalk they almost hit with said beer bottle. These kids flipped out and tried to break our door down, and instead broke our doorknob. Shortly after I got home, they again were being assholes (both sides) and this time Kevin was included. So Steve and I had to go outside and talk this group of 6 or 7 guys down and away from our apartment. And the whole time Kevin was only aggravating the situation and didn't take a lick of responsibility for it. The worst part was that we had brought people home with us. So by the time I got these guys to calm down and leave, I'm way to stressed to entertain guests. Luckily Jason isn't and most people had a good time still, I think. I tried to relax, too. Natalia and Don were making out on the interior balcony, then later Tom and Maragarita were making out in my kitchen. Saturday morning I slept until noon, then got up and kept to myself most of the morning because I was still pretty pissed off at Kevin. I decided to take a walk to cool off, and ended up at the library where I got Goldfinger, The Man With the Golden Gun and The Long Goodbye. By the time I got back home, I was pretty chilled out. Steve, Kevin and I had a talk about what had happened and why it need not happen again. Kevin said he'd buy a new doorknob. I met the guys at Empire, and there were a lot of guys this time. The usuals (me, Henry, Petey, Erik, Jeff, Rob), but also Timmy, Luke, Billy and Cem. After dinner, Timmy came back with me to check out Zelda. He left after awhile and then Bill and Swearingen came over to pregame a bit before we headed out to Tom's party. Kellee and the other girls were leaving when we got there, but Kim was there, so that was cool. We were definitely taking it up a notch in terms of flirting. The night was pretty fun and I didn't get severely wasted. When we went home Steve ordered some food and Steve, Jason, Reagan, Nick and I were all hanging out in my room because when I was asking Reagan for some advice, it became a conversation with the whole apartment. Sunday morning I played Zelda and watched the Bears game, then went to work. Work was alright, I guess. Monday morning I went to McKinley to get some tests done, just to be on the safe side. After that I met Kim at Weston and we had lunch and watched Wet Hot American Summer in her room. We ended up hanging out until around 6, and it was fun chilling with her (and sober for once, haha). After that I went home and ordered a pizza and took a nap. Today I got up for my poetry class only to discover it had been cancelled. Boo-urns. Today and tomorrow are probably gonna suck because I have to read a book and write a paper on the book. But it's only like 100 pages, so I'm not really worried. Then I've got finals, and then break. I'm looking forward to it.
