I absolutely LOVE college. The people here and the atmosphere is amazing. There are so many things that this place has brought out of me, and I am so grateful. Parts of me I forgotten existed. And it feels really good. I once again appreciate the sunshine and I lie in the grass for fun. Conversations revolve around something new everytime, and it is so much fun. Classes are great too, although there is a lot to do. Piece of advice...never work in a library. I started there yesterday, and when I walked out, I wanted to scream just to hear some freaking noise!!! And the guys in Nelligan are really cool, especially since I crashed their floor thing and watched the Steelers game last night with my friends from the second floor. There are people here that I never thought I would ever see again, but some I am glad that I got to see. And then there are the people that I am still getting to know, which has to be the most fun and mentally stimulating thing that I have ever experienced.
I miss high school, where everyone said it is a time of growth and change, but college is REALLY that time. When we get the freedom to do whatever we want, but have to keep our priorities in line, and be responsible for ourselves. This in when our parents can't bail us out of trouble, because we are adults now....(unless you are Lauren whose birthday is in October) and there is the thought that we could get arrested for something and not call our parents to get us out of it.
I miss having everyone around all the time, and it is wierd that a few yards away from where I go to class, I have a place to call my own. I don't need a car to get where I need to go, except to come home. But home is a little way off for me yet.
Miss everyone so much!!!
