Welp, Christmas is over and it was wonderful...while besides the whole working part of it. My parental units and I had Christmas yesterday, I tradition I can remember for the longest. I got everything I could have asked for, well everyone did really well seeing how I was no help because I didn't know what I wanted. Sorry! He3. Ummm I got a new camera. Digital....its really kewl... it's a Olympus D-535 zoom. Spiffy I think... especially since Kate and I were talking the other day about me taking pictures of her and the boy friend. I think we can handle that he3. I also got a new cd player for my car, the other one was stolen so my daddy went and bought me a new one. I also got a really pretty necklace from my memom (grandmother for ya'll none educated people, lol j/k)... one problem with it is that I'm afraid to wear it. LOL I hate gifts like that. She spent so much money on it and it's on just a danty chain that I'd be afraid that I'd lose it. Oh well. We will see. I got a bunch of other things but alas this is just gist of what all went down.
I had to work yesterday and today...and tomorrow. Yesterday was alright. Today sucked though. We were short on people and in all aspects reviewed, Brandon and I were working 4 peoples jos between 2. I cried, literally. Anyway... we didnt get out until 8 when we usually get out at like 645-7. Thats only because Jason came in and told us as our supervisor he was letting us go home to our families and he would take care of everything in the morning. So oh well... Go Jason!!
To top the whole night off when I was pulling into the driveway my battery on my car died. So yea I have to have the daddie take me to get a new battery for the car and then I can go "day after Christmas shopping" and then to work at like 9ish in the morning. Blah!
Welp, I will leave you with a poem and then I'm headed to bed. I hope that everyone had a very Merry Christmas!!!
Blessed Be...
Heaven
Heaven tastes like rain drops on the tip
of your tongue. Quenching the thirst you've
had for so long, so sweet yet so bitter.
Heaven sounds like angels singing wonderful
songs. Or a light wind on the wings of angels.
Peaceful like a light summer's day.
Heaven smells like a crisp snow fall. Rose
petals blowing on the softest clouds.
Heaven looks like the sunrise on the first
day of winter glistening on the freshly
fallen snow.
Heaven feels like holding a small child's
hand, so small yet so warm. It's the greatest
feeling of all.
