So heeere's the deal! Finished my rotation at St. E's (A+ whoo hoo!). Now I am at Rite Aid Headquarters in Liverpool. When I am out seeing stores and/or working on projects it is interesting and I enjoy it, but the other half of the time I sit staring at my computer screen bored to death! At least I get Mondays off! My preceptor Rich is really nice, but when we drive to the stores he makes no effort to start conversation o either I come up with something or it's silence...not even radio! I am spending time updating myself on controlled substance laws and medicaid regulations, so hopefully that will benefit me when I am working as a Pharmacist...which could be just months away..craziness!

I went to the gym yesterday with my dad (since I had the day off, sweeeet) and it was really nice! I think I will make him my gym buddy. It's hard for me to motivate myself to go to the gym, but it's easier for me to be motivated if I know it will improve his health :)

Only 4 weeks left of rotations, then graduation and boards! Still trying to decide what to do about boards review. I can take review for the NAPLEX and MPJE in Albany for $175 total or just MPJE in Buffalo for $210. I've heard that Buffalos MPJE is better but I wonder if it's worth the extra money when there isn't even review for the NAPLEX. I'll have to ask around!

I've also started eating healthier. It is tough when my parents are eating anything and everything around me, but I am trying to stay strong! One day at a time...

Oh random side note, I want to punch United Healthcare in the metaphorical face! I called the member services number because I needed to find out some of my plan details. I tried 3 different times, choosing different options each time to try to get on the line with an actual person (since the automated system couldn't answer my question) and no matter what I tried (even choosing "speak to a representative") it funneled me back into the damn automated system where the only thing it could tell me was drug prices. I wanted to scream. And my insurance sucks....$180+ for a 3 month supply of Yaz? Um...F you!
