Decoteau Dies at Dawn (again)

So today I got back my ten page paper. B-. You hear that?

B -

WHAT A JERK! That's a lower grade than my rough draft (which was a B). How did this happen? I seriously don't get this guy. I poured my heart and soul into this paper. Like I did in my last reflection. And the Caesar paper. He's so STUPID. He's predisposed in what grades he's going to give his students, as I was telling Mr. Brainerd this afternoon at gripe group. The people who got A's first quarter are still getting A's now (coughKATHcough) and those who got B's are still getting B's (coughMEcough). There's no chance of me getting into AP at this rate. I'm so screwed. He takes points off for the stupidest things he can think of, and tries to make every paper the way he wants it to be. He'll say that I've improved, but won't give me points for that. He'll still take off points for the next thing that comes to mind. Is there no pleasing the man?

Anyways. Today was okay, and instead of going to the pizza party after school, I went to gripe group. It was fun...Desiree, Katie, and Nicki showed up. We discussed "Are you a dreamer or a doer?" I said that I was both, because there are dreams that I'd like to achieve and that I DO try to achieve, but certain PEOPLE get in my way. *indicates above paragraph* Oh well. Then my dad called as I was rushing to get outside to meet him, and I ended up falling down the science wing stairs and scraping my elbow. Go Kevin! *claps*

All in all, not a bad first day back. Now it's the final push toward summer.
