Worked today. Wasn't as bad as expected, but also not as exciting as it could have been. Hot Cart Boy #1 was only there for like, 45 minutes after I got on, there were no people in the store unless there were about 30, and the consistent guys from FM (including Peter) were inconsistent.
Company starts coming on Thursday. The list of chores is long.
I couldn't stay connected on AIM at all tonight so I finally figured that this would be a good time to try reinstalling it. Lo and behold, after uninstalling, I cannot by any possible method get the AIM website to load, so now I have no AIM at all and I feel like I've lost a limb. Of course, I could use this disconnected time to do something like read Candide or study for psych, but who does that when they can sit with 17 LJ windows open, cursing the utter lack of Hayden Christensen in their life? That's right, NO ONE.
Talking with my 9-year-old nephew on the phone today made me realize just how bad my conversation skills are. Unless I have someone directing the conversation and carrying most of it, I really suck at talking. This is kind of terrifying, because awkward silences are nobody's friend.
My peonies are wilting. Woe.
