PROUD!
One of Maeve's little friends from storytime came down with H1N1. When I told her that little girl was sick, she instantly said, "I want to get her something to help her feel better.". A $5 stuffed animal from Kohl's, a pretty gift bag from Target, and one of my Dr. Seuss cards, and we had a beautiful present for Maeve's little friend! Maeve was delighted, and so was her friend. The only wrinkle was, of course, Maeve couldn't give it to her friend herself (I had to drop it off), but I'm still proud of the way Maeve's first thought was to help her friend feel better!
