Wake up call
During the past couple of years our Commander and Chief George W. Bush has caught a lot of flack from the youth of America and America in general. He was elected into office by the very people who now oppose him. This is maddness i thought. If one firmly believes that one is competent enough to govern one of the strongest countries in the world then how could they suddenly rise one morning with the notion that they had made a grave error. In the 2000 election i was in support of Al Gore and i remember talking to every adult i knew and asked them their views on the upcomming election. Every single adult i talked to flowed support for Bush out of their misinformed mouths. Gore in fact did win the election because he won Florida but Bush took the thrown reguardless. Four years later when Bush caught heavy flack for the involvement in Iraq. The sheer fact that he was in a time of war meant that he had the favor of the south and he was running against the dumbest man to ever run for president to date. So long before the election i knew Bush would win but idiotic misinformed children told me otherwise. Just like with everything else i say, i was right they were wrong.
The other day at the recruting station i took the Military Proficiency test. I scored so high that Sergeant Owens told me that i could train to be a Green Beret. As we drove home from huntington i bewgan to think that this country has no sense of itself. Too many people stand on street corners protesting with their fists in the air but not and original thought in their heads. People turn on the brainwashing electromagnetic screen that sits in their living room and they get told what to think. The Television says to hate Bush so i hate bush, or the band that i listen to hates Bush so i will too. Im sick of it. I will probably enlist next year because people fought and died so that i can fuck around with my friends and be a normal kid. It's time that i stop freeloading and help to protect everything this country stands for. Hate the war, love the war, hate Bush, Love him I don't care he is my commander and chief and if you people dont have to balls to go over there and protect your freedom of speech and can only stand on this side and yell about things you will never know about then you can go fuck yourselves.
