Alien nation - Pondering
I've been doing a lot of thinking lately. I often think I am from an alien nation and therefore "human" behavior is very odd to me.
So here is the quandary for me today. We teach our kids that they need to know/learn the right answer. At work, you need to come up with the right answers. Being right is equated to good. Being wrong is bad. However, being too right is also bad. Why is that? Why do people consider me bad for being right? Why is it that I get penalized for being smart, logical and having common sense?
I'm not being snarky here...I'd really liked to know.
