Well it certianly has been some time since I have written a decent entry in here. I was going to write one last night but I was so tired that I ended up getting off the computer at like 8PM, so not like me and then I cleaned part of my room to get stuff ready for school, and I then crashed at like 11 and didn't get up till like 10 this morning, and I woke up with a headache that made me feel like I had a piano dropped on my head. It really hurt like hell. So here I am with another story in the life of Lizzy. Believe me it's not much, but at least I was able to get out of the house during the weekend and I was thankful for that at least. I never get out of the house, probably cause I am way too addicted to the computer. That all will change when I go back to school. Hopefully. Anyways, here is what I did on the weekend.
Well Satuarday was one busy day. I felt like I was running around like a chicken with no head cause I didnt stop running around till about 8:00 that night, but it was okay cause I got out of the house. Well, the morning of Saturday I pretty much sat around and did nothing, more or less being on the computer and then had some lunch and then read a book while I was waiting for Daddy to come out of the bird room so we could take the trash to the Transfer station, or the dump as some people call it. But anyways, we got all the trash going and we took it all to the transfer station and spent a few minutes looking around in the trailer that usually has free stuff. Daddy usually looks for things that he can use to fix computers with and I look for books and the like. I found one book, and the week before I had found four of them, one being a book by V.C. Andrews. We even found some really nice plates on Saturday. They are blue and have flowers on them. They were really pretty too, and believe me we could use the plates cause we barely have any since Peter moved out and took most of our plates. That's okay. We came home and got the mail. At this point "Hey You" by Pink Floyd was on the radio cause when I am with Daddy I like to listen to classic rock cause he is the one who can tolerate it at least since Mum has to have her country. When the song was playing my dad looked at me and then said "HEY YOU!" and sang it really loud. I jumped like 5 feet and then I started laughing at him cause it was really funny. He then started singing in the car and I gave him a weird look and went in the house and sat around with Mum and Elaine and talked to them and then dad came in and was looking at the mail and he kinds got mad.
He got mad cause he found a piece of mail that was addressed to my brother and it was tickets to the Brad Paisley concert that is happening September 15. The thing is that he bought 3 tickets and usually it is for his co-workers at Target. That's okay cause it is his money and he can do whatever he wants with it. But the thing that upset my dad was the fact that all through July, Peter failed to pay my dad any money for his car which used to be my dad's and Peter gave dad his old car. Dad got mad that Peter can go out and buy a new laptop, a plasma screen tv, a remote car starter and all these other things, and he cant pay my dad the 200 or so dollars for the car and he's got like 2000 to 3000 to pay off on it. Dad says if he doesnt see some money soon that he is gonna re-posess Peter's car, whcih he can do, cause the car is registered in my dad's name. I think he should to make a point to Peter that he cant just buy all this stuff and not pay dad the money that he deserves. Peter just doesnt know when to stop buying things to please other people to show them how much money he has. Hell, Elana spends her money more wisely than Peter does. Shows how much more RESPONSIBLE and MATURE she is. Maybe my brother will see that someday, but that is like saying I am gonna be rich someday. Anyway after that we were about to leave and dad and mum todl Elana to tell her boyfriend, Tyler that they said hi, and Elana said that he didnt want to hear from them since the Jehovah Witnesses are a cult and dont think that family comes first. Which is true. Mum ended up getting pissed and took out on me and didnt speak for a while.
We went grocery shopping and I ran into two of my high school friends, Stacey and Arianne. Stacey by the looks of her is pregnant, the LAST person I expected to be pregnant out of my high school graduating class.Actually it seems like almost everyone in my class is getting pregnant except for me. It's a shocker to see the ones who were not pregnant in high school are. There are many people I know who I'd least expect to get pregnant either have kids or are pregnant.. It's amamzing to me and I will never understand why. She was so involved in sports she had no time for a boyfriend. Guess things change. I saw Arianne, and she has not changed much. She pretty much looks the same since I last saw her. She is workin at the same place and she is about to start school in the fall. She laughed at me when I told her I wanted to go back to Fort Kent. Guess she will never understand that I feel at home in Fort Kent.
We went out to dinner too on Saturday and a friend of ours joined us. We had some chinese food, which was pretty good. I had some orange beef I think it was, and mum had garlic veggies and some sweet and sour pork, the bonless ribs. Daddy had Tripple medley thing which looked spicy to me, and our friend Kathryn had Hunan pork it was pretty good too. We had a great time talking and stuff, and eating good food. We still have some left, so I may have some for lunch today.
We went out to eat again on Sunday and this time we went to a restraunt called the Water's Edge. It's not far from Sebasco Lodge. But it's smaller than Sebasco is and it was really nice. One of my friends, Sara Wells works there, and she recgonized me instantly and stopped to talk to me for a bit. She goest to a school not far from where I go. She goes to University of Maine at Machias, which is aobut 2 hours from Fort Kent. I was glad to see her, and talk to her for a little while at least. My old elementary school art teacher, Miss Cunningham works there too, and it took her a while to remember who i was and when she did sme hugged me and stuff. She was our waitress with our big group. There was about 14 people there so it was pretty big. I sat next to my mom's high school friend Debbie and she told me stories when she was my age, how she was a school clown and how she used to pretend to fall down stairs when she was young to get people to laugh and stuff. Mum told me that she was a clown and Debbie added that she was voted class clown when she graduated from school. She and her brother Brad traded stories about their father doing things wrong and it was funny to hear them all. It sounded like their life was more like living on the I Love Lucy Show cause the things they said yesterday.
The food was great. I had this stuffed seafood combo and while it had crabmeat in it, it was still good even if I got sick later that night. I enjoyed the food. It was better than Sebasco's food and that is a ritzy place. But the thing that I loved the most was what I had for dessert. I had this mint chocolate ice cream pie and it was to die for. Mum looked at me like i had gone insane and everyone asked me how I could eat it since it was so sugary. Olga who is a dear friend of our family had her sister, Wanda and her husband staying with her for the week and she was with us too and she saw my dessert and said, "that's not healthy now is it?" She was teasing, but it felt like she was trying to tell me to ask for something else. I appriciate her concern, but if I want to heat healthy, I'll do it on my own terms, not hers. The pie was soooooo good. Mint is definietly my thing.:D So all in all it was a good weekend. Spending time with friends and family. What could be better.
Now here is my good news of the day. Vocational rehab called to let me know that they paid off my past due balance of $3,772.28 was now offically paid off. There was a hold on my loans and I fixed that last week so I dont owe anything to the school no more. It's offical that I can go back to school this fall since everything is all taken care of. To think I thought I would not be able to goback to school and here I am going back. All I have to do now is wait for the Admissions to either call me or send me something to let me know that they have accepted my application of re-enterance, and once that is done, I'll be going back. The down side is the fact I wont be able to room with Macy or Krystal like I hoped I would. Apparently Cris who is the Director of Residantal Life at the Lodge where I usually live on campus, has added another girl in the room with Macy and Krystal. Macy is okay with it since she is pretty easy going with everyone, but Krystal isnt cause the last two roommates she has had were either party people or wanted to sleep with guys when she was in the room and that bothered her to hell and back. So I will have to room with someone else. And I dont really like rooming with new people so I guess I will have to get used to that once I get my dorm assignments. I am hoping that I will be able to room with Macy and Krystal second semester. If not then I am definietly rooming with them next year. But I told Krystal that I will be in their suite all the time so I can hang out with the both of them while I am at school. Plus I I'll be living on campus during the summer cause I'll be taking summer classes so that's all good. I guess behind every dark cloud there is a silver lining. I am just happy that I will be going back to school cause most of you on my friends list know how badly I been wanting to go back and now it is all set,a nd i couldnt be happier.
And that is all for me. I shall write more again next monday. I'll have alot to say I'm sure cause my dad's best friend, Keith is comming down to visit from Wisconsin and is spending two weeks with us so that shall be fun considering the fact that Keith loves picking on me. I'll write more soon. Much love to you all!
