Long Island, New York
Yesterday I went with Gary to meet his mom and his best friend, Jacqui. Everything went really well actually. Not saying I was nervous, but maybe a little apprehensive. I didn't really make a great first impression on them (don't want to go into detail, don't ask). His mom was really sweet to me. She gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek when we got there which Gary said she never does. Apparently she's never liked anyone he or Michael (brother) have ever dated so I guess I'm doing ok so far! After hanging out with Mom for a while, we went and had dinner with Jacqui which went really well. We got along great which was awesome. We made fun of Gary the entire dinner which is awesome since he dishes it out to both of us ALL the time. I got a hug from her when we left too lol. Went back to the house and hung out with Mom for a while and I got a huge hug from her when we left to come back to Connecticut. Gary and I think the reason his mom likes me is because she realizes that we're serious about each other, and not just a fling. I see myself being with him for a long time, and I know I've said this before but this time I really mean it and it's great because he tells me the same thing and I know it's coming from his heart. I dare say that this is it :-x I've met Michael a couple times, and we get along great. He has the exact same sense of humor that Gary has which is great because it's the same as mine, so we have a pretty good time when we get together. Alright time to go see my baby, goodbye LJ land!
