Itchy
Boy, am I itchy,
Even scratchy.
Was out for a few minutes,
That’s about it.
Before bed last night,
That’s right.
Pretty sure I got bit,
That’s it.
Got bit by a mosquito,
Though I didn’t have on perfume-
Oh, no!
While attempting to keep track,
Of the Cubs game-
That seemed to be from here,
And back.
Itching all night,
A mosquito bit me,
In the dimming light.
Maybe, I got eaten,
Because of the shower,
Three hours earlier-
I’d taken.
Even scratchy.
