It May Be The First Day Of Spring

According to the calendar,
Winter has been sent packing,
A note saying-
“Return to sender”.

Mother Nature doesn’t agree,
For, you see-
Cold temperatures today,
Winter just wants,
To stay.

Today’s spring,
The sun is-
Somewhat shining.
I haven’t been outside,
But, the weather-
Has been,
A wild ride. ☹

I <3 going outside,
When the weather’s warm-
And there’s no storm.
If I could,
A bike I’d ride.

But, not today,
Because winter-
Wants to stay.
Spring brings allergies,
Yes, there are days-
I can only sneeze.

My sinus are going nuts,
Stupid sinus headache-
Oh, shucks!
Dread spring as I do,
Because allergies-
Can be a zoo.

Baseball season,
So close-
For all the correct reason.
Wish I could go to a game,
With my bestie-
In me,
You bring the flame.
