Though it’s cloudy and gray,
It’s a perfect day.
Mon’s already done our shopping,
She’ll bring everything.

Lunch date awaits,
All before 3PM,
As bad weather anticipates.

A winter bomb.

This why,
Before the ice flys-
Let’s go out to lunch with Mom today,
I hope that’s OK

A change of today,
Is on the way.
Finally out with Mom-
Our shopping’s done-
Time for lunch fun,
Before bad weather,
Causes us to run.

Haven’t gotten out for lunch in a while,
Seeing Mom will make
Us both smile.
She’ll come today,
Before the nice weather breaks.
