What a fridgit start to the New Year countdown! At this time last year, I don’t remember there already being snow on the ground here in Huntley, Illinois. In fact, I think that the temperatures got cold-accompanied with some snow to begin the new year.
Not this time, though.
We already received our white wonderland for Christmas.
It’s supposed to snow again on Thursday. I don’t know how much, to be exact; however, www.weather.com is predicting less than an inch on top of what we already have with another shot of bitterly cold air.
I know that the start to next year is going to be in the super deep freeze. I also think we are going to probably be white to begin the new year.
I hope my bestie and I have nowhere we MUST go, as all the snow and ice on the ground is simply going to make any walking extremely dangerous-crutches or not. This weather decided to give us a wanted present of a white Christmas with unwanted cold weather to make it feel like we’re in Alaska.
