Holiday Season
Tis the season,
Holiday music is the reason.
Thanksgiving is Thursday,
But, holiday music-
Paves the way.
Though today’s not easy,
Not in the least-
For me.
Today’s the anniversary,
2 years ago misery.
When my ex wanted me gone,
How he pulled it off,
Didn’t take long.
Why he did this to me,
Before the holidays-
I can’t see.
What had I done wrong?
For him to say-
“You’re gone”?
