Sore Muscles
I danced all day,
Danced the party away-
That’s how i
Spent yesterday.
I ❤ how I danced,
With Miss America 2016-
I was a dancing queen.
But you wouldn’t have noticed,
How sore I was-
Not on first glance.
I didn’t exactly take a break,
My muscles seemed to be
Wide awake.
It wasn’t till later,
That my legs felt-
Like an earthquake.
Today, my whole body hurts,
Not from being in the sun-
From having,
So much fun.
I danced with the lead singer,
After dancing with Miss America-
For a long while,
On the dance floor-
You could see me linger.
I asked the band,
If I can join them-
Should we have this event again,
They said yes-
How grand!
Dancing around vintage cars,
That were hidden behind-
Bike bars.
That was cool,
On the dance floor,
Boy, did I rule!
