Still in 1st place,
The Cubs are ahead in
The baseball race.
For the 2nd year straight,
I hope for a playoff run-
That it’s not
Too late.

I’d ❤ to see another championship,
That would be
A wonderful trip.
Wouldn’t that be fun,
On days-
Without sun?

Too bad I missed a good game,
The last score I saw-
Was a tied one,
What a shame!

Tonight’s game-
The time, I don’t know-
Wonder if it’s the same.
I hope for a win,
With the sun
Coming in.

Would be cool,
If we win again-
Under a moonlight pool.
Home runs-
Even grand slams,
Would be cool.

What better happen today,
Should go the right way.
I hope the Cubs win,
Yes-all over again.

I hope the Brewers and Cardinals lose,
So we can be further in 1st place,
In this crazy race.
Yes, a good way-
To end today,
