Nostalgia

I'm on eBay, debating on whether or not I should buy a used Super Nintendo System for $50, which includes my all-time favorite game (next to Lunar) Zelda: A link to the past. Should I go through with this, or am I just feeling nostalgic and will regret it soon after purchase? I don't want to become a video game nut like I was when I was 8 to 14, ( Read more... )

Congratulations on the job!!! That's wonderful that you get to use your boring temp experience for something worthwhile that you believe in.

Buy the toy. Being hired is definitely a reason to buy yourself presents.

Congrats my love! We should go out and celebrate. We should also work out intricate ways to torture and kill the volunteer coordinator (I'm sure Dave would be happy to join in this reindeer game). And yes, get the Nintendo. It will be all the more reason that I should come to Brooklyn and visit you (which I will, I promise I will).

without a doubt buy the superN. no wait, buy playstation. i grew up on videogames but hadnt played for 15 years until a month ago when i discovered my 5 year old nephews playstation. (oh yeah, there was also a 1 month long obsession over grand theft auto 3 years ago).

im so excited to go over tonight and play crash bandicoot i might just scream.

oh oh, buy the supernintendo and lets have an allnight video game session! ill bring the cheetos.

i bought one at a flea market WAY cheaper and they had a ton of them. look around first. also, it broke in under a year. was totally worth it still, but remember they aren't hefty and might not be around long enough to merrit 50 bucks!
