!!!COBRA STARSHIP in Chicago!!!
I saw this band for the first time in May; they were one of the openers for Fall Out Boy. I am in love with this band! I bought their first album the next day, and their second one just came out yesterday (it's in the mail on the way to my house and ought to be there by the time I go home on Friday!). Today, I found out that they are playing with The Academy Is... and some other bands on the Sleeping with Giants Tour when they come to Chicago on November 24. Needless to say, I just bought my General Admission ticket; I'm ready to throw my fangs up and rock the f*ck out!!!!!!!

Their style is sort of punkish, but it also hearkens back to retro. It's just amazing and the lead singer (Gabe Saporta) has such a great voice. I highly recommend "Smile for the Paparazzi," their new single.
And before anyone asks, no, they have not replaced U2 as my favorite band, lol!!!!!
