hello my dears and darlings and dashings!
i miss you all! i've missed talking to all of you and it hasn't helped that i hadn't checked LJ for a while and haven't updated for quite some time either...
one night last week...it was no special night...i went to shut my door and just found myself staring at my picture poster and the pictures surrounding it as if seeing them for the first time all over again and reliving every moment. i started crying. i might start again now just thinking about it. it's just like christine said, i'm not homesick anymore. i just miss you guys. i miss sharing so many moments and memories with all of you. and i am just overcome with joy that makes me cry. joy because of the many blessing you all have brought to my life. joy because high school was a damn good time. i just feel blessed beyond belief.
things have been good here. i can't believe it's almost february and once it is, we have only three months of school left.
my initiation in chi omega is on my birthday...last year opening night was my birthday...what a great day!
i want to share something with all of you to give you a glimpse into why i joined chi omega and why it fits me so well...
the following is the chi omega symphony, written in 1909:
To live constantly above snobbery of word or deed; to place scholarship before social obligations and character before appereances; to be, in the best sense, democratic rather than 'exclusive', and lovable rather than 'popular'; to work earnestly, to speak kindly, to act sincerely, to choose thoughtfully that course which occasion and conscience demand; to be womanly always; to be discouraged never; in a word, to be loyal under any and all circumstances to my Fraternity and her highest teachings and to have her welfare ever at heart that she may be a symphony of high purpose and helpfulness in which there is no discordant note.

I LOVE YOU ALL! HAVE A FABULOUS DAY!!!
