cynical town can be tough on an angel...

Blahhhh, I have a 3.5 GPA for the first semester. I knew I should've taken more honors/AP courses this year. So probably no NHS for Caitlin; that's what I get for being lazy.

I went to the Y with Kristen during 6th hour today to work out, and we were the only people there under the age of 35 and under 180 pounds. Now you know where all of the obese men go on their lunch breaks. The clerk at the desk talked me into taking an application, which, knowing me, I won't fill out.

I have a new friend in my computer class, apparently. This little deaf sophomore named Jonathon sits next to me, and he's always trying to "talk" to me, which clearly doesn't work. I have a few deaf friends who can talk, but Jonathon clearly can't. Yet he refuses to use his interpreter to talk to me, so instead he makes noises while I smile and nod. Although today, when I wasn't responding correctly to whatever he was saying, he told his interpreter to tell me that he likes being my friend. It's pretty damn funny. I always see him in the halls pimpin' it- putting his arms around random girls and high-fiving these guys who, by the looks on their faces, have never seen this kid before. Whatever, he amuses me. And now I'm not alone in Comp. Apps.

I wasted 20 minutes of my evening hiding in my bathroom from the people who had just broken into my house. Those people turned out to be a combination of my cat, my washing machine, and the TV. Your imagination fucks with you when crazy shit is happening in your area.
