TWO DAYS LEFT!!!
I am sorry that I have not gotten and will not get to see all of you before I leave for school. :(
On Sunday, I said goodbye to everyone at my church and that was really sad, especially thinking about how just next Sunday I will be going to a different church with Kate K., David Rathbone and Alex Edwards. At Crossroads later that night we had a farewell party for Mike (a youth leader) and I got to see Meade Stone, Ross Byrd, Bryan White and Aaron Roberto - all people I had not seen in a while. I said goodbye to Willis, Caroline and Clay and had a very long draw-out goodbye with Lindsey. We kept walking away and then coming back to hug again. SADNESS! X and I are hoping to see each other at least for a little bit on Thursday.
Monday night I went over to Kelly's to watch Men's Gymnastics and so we had A LOT of fun doing that with our running commentary. At midnight we got hungry after seeing a Wendy's ad for Bacon Mushroom Melts... so we drove down to 21st St and got two. I'll miss her so much but we are definitely keeping up through letters since we love writing them! Wheee!
Tuesday morning I had breakfast at Shoney's with my Dad and my minister, who is also my dad's best friend and my godfather, and I said goodbye to him. Then Amy came over around 9:30 and we goofed off with ironing, watching movies, chatting on AIM and making lunch. I also got a manicure and pedicure last night at Changes and it was SO relaxing. I am definitely going back there during fall break. :) Then I went home and watched the Olympics again.
Tonight Belinda is spending the night and we are going to watch the All-Around competition of Men's Gymnastics. If you couldn't already tell I am obsessed with Men's Gymnastics and Swimming. I can't help it... I have been since the Sydney Olympic Games. The Hamm twins! Paul Hamm, especially! Michael Phelps! Aaron Piersol! Ian Thorpe! Brendan Hansen! Blaine Wilson! Ingra de Bruin! Amanda Beard! And so many more athletes... haha, you should hear me list them off and talk about all of the events. And just wait until Track & Field starts... oh jeez, haha. But anyways, I am just so happy that I get to spend a whole night with my best friend before I leave for college! Good stuff! YAY!
