i'll be home soon.
the boys left this morning at 5:30am.
last night we had all originally planned on going bowling and drinking white russians in honor of 'the big lebowski,' and in order to continue the tradition that was started when they last visited in june. unfortunately, they had a "meeting" scheduled with someone at 9:30pm and that would have screwed up our bowling schedule, so we didn't go. instead, after the meeting we just went to ralph's, got some white russian mix, some beer, some red bull...went back to the apartment, invited over some friends of mine and then played poker for hours with cards that had ancient greek porn on them. it was hard to focus on the value of the card, rather than the pictures, let me tell you.
people started bailing around 1:30am, but kenny and i stuck it out and stayed awake. we were both bleary-eyed by the time adam's alarm clock went off, so i bet he got over his supposed inability to sleep in the van...
i love those boys, and i don't use the term "love" loosely. they are such good-hearted people, incredibly funny and caring and just make life so much nicer whenever they're around.
the only thing that stopped me from getting a little teary-eyed this morning is the fact that i'll be back in charleston in 3&1/2 weeks (!!) and i'll be able to see all of their smiling faces then.
as for tonight...definitely a nap, and then sondre lerche at the troubadour.
