I haven't had a chance to get here to write about how I feel about the election, don't read this if you don't want to. Every year it gets harder for me, more frustrating. I have heard from experts that say we have the worst form of counting the votes, we have the worst ways of publicising the stats, we have the worst...
Counting yes that's just ridiculous that's how he got in four years ago you think he was going to change that. Just makes me laugh. Then with reporters giving bum stats before the polls are closed, well that was stopped this year. There are bad things and there are good things about every election.
What gets my goat is people don't vote, people don't know what electoral college is, people don't know who they should vote for, etc. Let me help you. If you care/bitch/moan about yourself/family/job/gas/ then vote I don't want to hear it otherwise and nor does anyone else. You had your chance to have a voice and passed it up. The elcetoral college is what you learned about in civics I had to pass 7th grade before I could get into high school. Older generations had to take it in high school and actually PASS before they could graduate electoral college: people we have essentially elected to elect the presidential candidate. Hence eletoral numbers that correspond to the state. It depends on the population people. Read a book.
And last but not least if you're a little uneducated on who to vote for read the paper the day of the election at the very least it tells you what candidate addresses the issues that you feel more strongly for.
I did support Kerry in this campagnebut what we need to do now is come together and hope that Bush makes good on the promises. He does want this country to be great like the rest of us
