my family is nuts
My family went out to dinner last night and my mom went on saying how Thursdays are big nights to go out. I said "well kind of, I'm not so sure about that." But she went on saying that it is the DINKs that go out (double income no kids). So everyone agreed with her and we finished dinner.
But on the way home, my sister said "hey why don't we have any DINKs around here?" And my mother blurts out "what'd you say?!?!?" thinking it was a different word. So entire way home my family used the word DINK in every sentence, it was funny. But then there was one of the big blowup snowman on someone's lawn and my dad laughs and says, "Hey look at the size of the DINK on that Dinkle." Because by that time we were talking about my grandparent's friends, the Dinkles. So then everyone in my family is laughing so hard and my grandparents are just rolling their eyes in the front seat. And people wonder where I get my sense of humor.
