christmas went ok. i got some cool things, like a butterfly painted hammer and screwdriver set from my grandma (she decided that as long as i was working with tools they might as well be feminine) and a multitool from my parents. my sister gave me a book that i've been trying to find.
we were all civil, for the most part, and managed not to strangle each other with the ribbon. the usual barbs were exchanged over turkey, but that can't be helped. it's tradition.
and today, like black friday, we shop. thankfully i've managed to avoid the malls by saying that i'd meet up with them in st. augustine proper for lunch. which means a quiet morning with the sister and the puppy. i even made fresh coffee.
i hope everyone's holiday went well and that no one was attacked by angel hair as i hear it's rather sharp.
