I was sold a lot of stories, and, honestly, it's been a few years since I had any meaningful contact with Randall. Honestly, the questions I was asking and the evasion made me say fuck it and walk away.
And thus began the ascendancy of Brian.
We were done a serious wrong and I don't mean the positing of a straight woman as a gay man. I mean the engagement on a personal level by a construct.
I don't give a rat's ass about straight women writing gay men though it is odd and apparently a publishing marketing phenomenon.
I do, however, give a rat's ass about the stories that some of us were told, sworn to secrecy, in the obvious intent to keep the crap separate.
