Things I did today:
- Revamped my resumes (again). I have one for zookeeping, and one for vet assisting. I'm wondering if I should make one for some kind of technical computery position? Or baking? Neither of which I want to do for a living, but you only get so many choices, you know?
- Finished website layout 2.0 for the Emerald City Voices. It's up for review from the other group members. Four thumbs up so far, five more to go.
And that's about it. That's kind of what all of my days look like. I guess now that I have revamped resumes, I should apply for the three new positions that have opened up at zoos around the country. *sigh* I don't know why I bother with those, because I couldn't afford a plane ticket anywhere, much less rent and deposit on an apartment elsewhere. Maybe that's what dads are for? Except I already owe him $2000 for my car.
I've applied for about 30 advertised jobs in the last few months, and dropped off resumes with no advertised positions. I qualify, and I'm awesome. What should I do? If you tell me retail, I'll shoot you in the face, and I'm not even kidding.
I need a job soon! My money is gone! My loans have to be repaid soon! :-S
BTW, I got my diploma in the mail, which is exciting. Is it sadly ironic that I can't afford to frame it?
