baby gorilla!
Finally, here are some pictures of Amanda's new baby. These were taken a day after she had surgery to remove a cyst on her back - due to a mild case of spina bifida. Sorry about the image quality - it was dark, behind glass, I didn't use flash, and the baby moved a lot. :-) If you look closely, you might be able to see that they painted Amanda's nails red to distract her from the baby's sutures so she won't pick at them. She's still interested in the surgery site, but to my knowledge hasn't fussed with it too much...
I think this picture is just so precious! Look at that little face...
She still stays on Amanda at all times. A little too small to be out on her own :-)
