With enough restless energy to power a small city...

Wow...I ate SOOOOO much sushi last night. So much, in fact, that I've seen no need to placate my stomach with breakfast or lunch.

Is this day over yet. I'm ready for it to be over. I'm very, VERY hyper. Time for classes; saw my syllabus for British History...almost began to salivate. Viking and British History...all in the same semester? I'm ecstatic; like the nerd I am, I still anticipate the first day with the obnoxious excitement of grade schoolers (i must admit, though, that this somewhat exaggerated mood is probably fueled by my restless urge to run out of the VC and roll hike down the hill).

Lucky for me it's hotter than hell on this mountain. Took 28 boy scouts to Ochs observatory and came back feeling like a drowned cat...ugh. One boy insisted on trying to slide down the hand rails as we marched down there. In a loving tone, I told him in so many words that if he fell and cracked his head, I was leaving his life in the hands of his merit badged comrads. He promptly stopped sliding.

In five hours I will be granted a five day respite from this uniform...Excellent. For five days straight I will wear feminine clothes and sandals. These clodhopping hiking boots will be shoved in the corner of my closet and scoffed at with all the malicious glee I can dredge up...shouldn't be hard. I hate those shoes...my toes literally curl with disgust when I sit to put them on...and once they are on I feel like I trip over my own feet half the time. Too big. Just wait Chacos, my beloveds, and we'll make up for lost time.

End now
