Just got out of Ep. 3. It made me so sad! I was just beginning to like angsty Anakin, but he had to go along with the whole Darth Vader thing.
I wonder how often the actor stood in front of his mirror, garbed in full, dark jedi robes...and just brooded. I have to admit he's a good brooder. Attractive even, but then again, as a brooder myself, I'm perhaps bias.
I suppose it's against the rules to say anymore about the movie (sigh). Silly rules.
Once again, though, I was disappointed by our pitiful cinema. The sound was so awfully unbalanced. Background music blared throughout the theater. It was so loud as if they felt it would enhance the low buzz of the light sabers. Instead its intensity was excruciating at times, and more often than not, overwhelmed dialogue. Then off and on there would be clicky noises. I was not amused. Dumb theater needs to hurry up and build another cinema. Not an enjoyable environment for movies any longer.
I found the different ratings across the world interesting. We rate it PG-13.
Ireland, Australia and Ontario rate it PG
Quebec, Canada rates it G (apparently the dark side isn't so dark to the French Canuks)
Other rating systems were crazy.
France and Japan: U (underage perhaps?)
Hong Kong: IIA (What?)
And yes, I'm writing this useless entry because I have nothing better to do. The tension in the household has yet to ease. I'm waving a flag of neutrality, however. Bait I will not be. This too shall pass.
